We are hosting Tear Up Festival overlooking Blithfield Reservoir in the heart of the Staffordshire countryside; the ideal, central UK location for a weaving experience.

Yes - Full weekend tickets and day tickets are still available to purchase.

Can I come with no weaving experience or as a beginner?

Absolutely - the weekend festival will have a huge variety of drop ins and other workshop options for all abilities. Come along and have a go.  

Camping details

Firstly, please ensure that you have booked your camping tickets for each night you plan to camp. These are separate to the main ticket booking.

 

The camping facilities are basic, which is reflected in the cost. However, the showers and toilets provided are of a high quality.

Facilities:

•Compost toilets

•Showers

•Washing facilities

•Tap for drinking water

•Waste bins for rubbish

•Food vans will be on site in the evening of Friday 28th and Saturday 29th and in the morning of Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th August.

•The nearest shop is 2.4 miles away (a 6 minute drive).

 

Things to note:

•Tents and campervans are welcome.

 

•There are no marked pitches so please camp respectfully, using the space economically but leaving at least a 1.5m gap between pitches. There will be a separate area available for cars to park in after you have pitched your tent.

 

•There is no electric on the campsite.

 

•No open fires are allowed in the camping area.

 

•Please clear up any rubbish so the site is left tidy.

Weekend Ticket Holders Information

•Firstly, please ensure that you have booked your camping tickets for each night you plan to camp here. They are separate to the main ticket booking.

•The festival will wrap up at 5pm on Sunday 30th August. If you plan to camp Sunday night, a camping ticket is needed.

 

•Please read the camping details if you are staying on site.

 

•Weekend ticket holders can arrive on site any time from 5pm on Friday 28th August. Please be aware and respectful of the fact that at this time, workshops may still be ongoing and weekend demonstrators may be setting up on the main site.

 

•Weekend ticket holders have access to the bar and ceilidh on the Friday night along with full ticket holders.

 

•Weekend workshops will start at 9.30am.

 

•There will be opportunities to book workshops online before the event as well as some to sign up for on the day.

 

•There are compost toilets and handwashing facilities on site but no electric.

Day ticket holders Information

•Please arrive from 8am Saturday and Sunday morning. You will be directed to the car parking area and from there to the main site.

•Weekend workshops will start at 9.30am.

•There will be opportunities to book workshops online before the event as well as some to sign up for on the day.

•The festival will wrap up at 5pm on Sunday 30th August. The car park will stay open until 6.30pm.

•There are compost toilets and handwashing facilities on site but no electric.

 

•Food vans will be on site on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th August.

 

•The nearest shop is 2.4 miles away (a 6 minute drive).
