  • Where is Tear Up Festival held?
    We are hosting the Tear Up by Blithfield Reservoir in Staffordshire, the ideal, central UK location for a weaving experience. The full address is: Newton Farm Newton Rugeley Staffs WS15 3NP
  • When is Tear Up Festival?
    Tear Up Festival takes place on 21st to 25th August 2024. Full Festival Ticket Holders have access from 21st to 25th August 2024. Day and Weekend Ticket Holders have access on Saturday 24th August 2024 and/or Sunday 25th August depending on the type of ticket(s) purchased.
  • How much does it cost?
    There are two types of tickets: Your Full Festival Tear Up Ticket (£545) includes 5 days in the stunning Staffordshire countryside with fellow willow enthusiasts and 10 tutors. 3 days of teaching with the specialist of your choice – Wednesday, Thursday & Friday. Tuesday evening there will be a discussion with our tutors about our craft & questions. There will be a ‘pop up’ shop on Wednesday where everyone can sell their wares. 3 delicious, home made lunches on the 3 teaching days. A finale banquet with your fellow weavers & tutors to celebrate – Friday evening. AND a Ceilidh (barn dance) to really let your hair down – Friday evening. ​Plus access to the Festical on Saturday AND Sunday. Payment Plans 3 months interest free available at the checkout with Klarna (UK only & subject to status) A Festival Day Tickets (£25) or Weekend Tickets enables you to join us on Tear Up Festival Days on Saturday 24th and/or Sunday 25th August 2024, depending on which ticket type you have purchased. There will be a whole heap of workshops you can participate in - from making your own tools, sculpture, introduction workshops to willow, rich, grasses. Meet basketry Gods, attend talks, demonstrations & visit stalls with basketry sales. ​ The short course workshops (1hr to 2.5hr) will all be on all day Saturday and Sunday and are available to book and pay for* (£25 per workshop) on the day, directly with the relevant tutors. *Full ticket holders & day ticket holders pay for Saturday/Sunday festival day workshops.
  • Where can I stay?
    Discover the beauty of the Staffordshire countryside at Tear Up Festival and stay in the fields adjacent to the festival at a cost of only £10 per night, paid directly to the venue. In addition you can find local accommodation via the Enjoy Staffordshire website.
  • What expert tutor can I choose?
    If you are buying a Full Festival Ticket, you will be able to choose one of 10 expert tutors to spend your 3 days with to learn and refine your skills! You can read about each of our tutors here - Meet The Experts! There are only limited tickets available for each Tutor, so don't hang around! When Full Festival Tickets sell out we will operate a waiting list (link in the website footer) that you can sign up to be made aware if tickets become available due to cancellation.
  • Do you offer a payment plan for Festival Tickets?
    Yes! We offer 3 months interest free payments via Klarna (UK only). This payment option can be selected at the checkout when you buy your ticket. Your credit arrangement is subject to status and will be with Klarna, not Tear Up.
  • What if I need to cancel?
    All tickets are non-refundable unless we are able to re-sell them. If you are unable to attend, we can offer your ticket to a member of the waiting list (if available). If we are able to re-sell your ticket, we can offer you a refund minus a 10% processing fee. If we are not able to re-sell your ticket, we will not be able to offer you a refund. ​This ticket re-sale service is only available until 20th July 2024. If you would prefer to re-allocate your ticket yourself, you are able to do so at any time via your original ticket email and advise us at
  • How do I buy tickets?
    Tickets are sold on a first come, first served basis via our website. Full festival tickets sold out within 10 minutes of going on sale. If you miss out on tickets then please Join The Waiting List (link in footer of website) You will be offered tickets if they become available. You will have 48 hours after receiving your offer of a ticket to purchase it. After this, the ticket will be offered to the next person on the list.
  • Can we bring Dogs?
    No. We've decided this year to keep the festival canine free. We will revisit this for future festivals though.
