Pierig Le Maillot has created his own very distinct style with the neolithic weave which shows off his skill and understanding of the material.

 

With Pierig, in the three days workshop, you will learn and make 1 or 2 neolithic baskets, learning different techniques and methods to create these wonderful vessels.

Pierig Le Maillot is an incredible basketmaker in Saint Sulpice la Pointe (in the South of France).

He trained with other basket makers such as Karen Gossard, Corentin Laval, Philippe Guérinel, Brigitte and Bernard Gendre. He says - “Thanks to their teaching I was able to develop my own style.”​

 

Today he is particularly interested in continuous weaving or Neolithic weaving.
