FULL FESTIVAL TICKETS

Your Full Festival Tear Up Ticket (£545) includes:

 

5 days in the stunning Staffordshire countryside with fellow weaving enthusiasts and 10 tutors

3 days of teaching with the specialist of your choice – Wednesday, Thursday & Friday. 

 

Evenings will be filled with discussions & talks with our world renowned tutors. 

 

Banquet lunches on the x3 teaching days.

 

A Ceilidh (barn dance) on Friday evening to really let your hair down.

Admission to Festival Days on Saturday & Sunday.

Early bird access to all Saturday and Sunday workshops.

 

Special order service from Musgrove Willows & first dibs on their willow.

If you miss out on tickets then please Join The Waiting List. You will be offered tickets if they become available. You will have 48 hours after receiving your offer of a ticket to purchase it. After this, the ticket will be offered to the next on the list.

FESTIVAL DAY TICKETS

Saturday AND Sunday are Festival Days and the event is open to

Day & Weekend Ticket Holders (£25)

 

There will be a whole heap of workshops you can participate in - from making your own basketry tools, creating sculpture, introduction workshops to willow, grasses, rush, hazel, ash + much more!

 

Meet basketry Gods, attend talks, demonstrations & visit stalls with basketry sales.

 

A range of short workshops (1hr to 2.5hr) will be on each day and are available to book and pay for on the day*, directly with the relevant tutors. (range from £5 - £25 per workshop)

*Full ticket holders & day ticket holders pay for festival day workshops.

 Plus a range of great food & drinks stalls.

JOHN WILLIAMSON

John will be demonstrating & selling his incredible Devon Stave & Maund baskets - he’s the captain of cleft Ash, the Dr of drawknife precision & we’re privileged he’s part of the festival.

Jeannette Gray

JEANETTE GRAY

Buzzing to announce the super skilled & knowledgable Jeanette will be joining us for the Festival Day on Sat 24th She’ll be teaching short workshops in cordage and looping with Juncus, or coiling with wild grasses. The perfect intro to weaving with what grows around you.

TOM HARE

Tom Hare is a Willow Sculptor and will be building a structure over the festival, ‘a kind of basket to hold people ‘. It’s an opportunity for everyone to work together, to produce a huge temporary piece for us all to play in!

Michelle Mateo

MICHELLE MATEO

Pounded Ash basketmaker & woodworker, Michelle, will have a log for people to drop in and pound and they can take any materials they can get for a donation.

 

2hr workshops - will be running short course workshops creating steam bent handles.

Eddie is a Yeoman Basketmaker specialising in made to measure & squarework basketry will be demonstrating, selling and showcasing his work on festival day.

Flo Hamer

FLO HAMER

Woodworker and Traditional Craftswoman extraordinaire, Flo will be here on Saturday 24th guiding you through the stages of ‘processing hazel weavers’ ready for basketmaking. Specialising in traditional and heritage crafts, she works with natural materials to produce high quality work that is functional and beautiful. Her work ranges from timber framing and joinery, to carving and of course basketry!
